ATI 4850 Owner's Club

    please welcome a new club-member...!

    Hy Guyz,
    now i´m one of these happy gamerz too, and i must say it overclocks very well and is not getting as hot as i thought!
    But, what should i say, i´m a f..king Computer-Freak since the 80´s, when i got my first PC, a Commodore C128D...
    So, i tried different ways of better cooling solution for this card (DUAL-SLOT VERSION!). With the stock cooler, the temperatures were o.k. but with my DIY wood-made vga-duct temperatures NEVER reaches the 70° C. But overclocking get a additional boost to finally 687 MHz / 1092 MHz GAME-STABLE!!!

    lol..HD5870 is not even out yet :)..but 4850 is cheaper now.. :lol:

    It's the best buy since the overclocked premium Nvidia 7300GT w/ DDR3. :thumb:

    4850 - It's a(lmost a) must if you are finding a mid-range budget gamer card. :)

    Heh heh. I also have that same thing. Your Sapphire card, is it the hot lady in the packaging? The cooler looks like jet engine though. :)

    Im gonna be buying or making a new rig soon. i wont get a 4850 straight away. ill probs get a 9800gt or something, but will definatly upgrade in the future then join :beer:

    4850 pawns 9800gt :p..or get a 4830 instead :p
