please welcome a new club-member...! Hy Guyz, now i´m one of these happy gamerz too, and i must say it overclocks very well and is not getting as hot as i thought! But, what should i say, i´m a f..king Computer-Freak since the 80´s, when i got my first PC, a Commodore C128D... So, i tried different ways of better cooling solution for this card (DUAL-SLOT VERSION!). With the stock cooler, the temperatures were o.k. but with my DIY wood-made vga-duct temperatures NEVER reaches the 70° C. But overclocking get a additional boost to finally 687 MHz / 1092 MHz GAME-STABLE!!!
HD5870's suck!! lol just jokes, im just so jelous becuase i cant afford one.. (yet!!) but hopefully il be joining the club soon!!
It's the best buy since the overclocked premium Nvidia 7300GT w/ DDR3. 4850 - It's a(lmost a) must if you are finding a mid-range budget gamer card.
WTF WoW i must have been real drunk when i wrote that!! 5870's.. WTF?? i ment 4850's ROFL.. the title pretty much gives it away "4850's club" LOL
Heh heh. I also have that same thing. Your Sapphire card, is it the hot lady in the packaging? The cooler looks like jet engine though.
lol, it's the same card..he posted on new toy bragging there..you never went and have a look?TomLeggett, faster get 1 and join us
=) Im gonna be buying or making a new rig soon. i wont get a 4850 straight away. ill probs get a 9800gt or something, but will definatly upgrade in the future then join
um thats kinda pointless as the 4850 is just 30 bux more than a 9800 gt and yields better performance...
