wow, as rumor had suggested, the pcb is really longer than 88GTX
According to here, http://www.overclockers.com/articles1411/
This is quite a small card, only the huge fan is occupying the end of the card.
oh ya.. that's an interesting twist viewing fr another angle.. thx for that
making it so long would juz reduce compatibility
i dun get this approach
Yep but that thankfully is for OEM BBA units. AIB's will be utilising a smaller cooler. The PCB itself is about 9.5" long only.
And that pic looks shopped as the other picture shows an 8+6 pin config
i think AIB's sample will be noisier
Yikes, those things are still huge with or without the fan, BBA or IAB! I still have 2 compies that have a good old 9800XT and an X850XT, which are the same size and differ greatly in performance. I wish they would take the time to make cards like they used to............
Another thing that will definitely be huge is the price.
It's high-end, what do you expect? a ferrari for 100 bucks forget it, ATI, NVidia, AMD, Intel, etc.... are in the tech business to gain money, not to do charity.
