Hello, I'm just wondering, there are a lot of Atomic Clock transmission stations in America and in some other countries like Japan and such. But is there any similar transmission stations in Malaysia? I've searched around in Google with no luck. Are these transmission similar to GPS signals?
Yeah, there are lots of time beacons out there. In lot's of nations. In usa there is WWV, NIST Radio Station WWV And Canada, CHU,,, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CHU_(radio_station) In China, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BPM_(time_service) YouTube - WWV and BPM China and... something else? on 10 MHz, 4/27/2010 @ 0828 UTC Do you have a shortwave radio?
Ah I see. I used to have an old radio which I could switch to LW, MW, FM and AM, and that's all about it. Since I'm curious about constructing my own atomic radio-clock, and without those transmission towers close to my home, would it still receive those signals from example, China?
