Automatically Logging Into Windows XP

    Why not? I don't set password for my home PC (but it prompts for password, which I always press ENTER because I haven't found any time to fix it. I seldom restart my PC :mrgreen: ) but I can use remote desktop. :think:

    Or that's what you guys meant? Do 'away' with the prompt?

    Me neither. It might explain why Remote Desktop wasn't working for me when I testing it :think:

    Remote Desktop will always ask for password, I don't know how to make it work without a password.

    Yeah, it will ask for a password but it should still work (and ask you for a password) even if you set Windows to boot up and automatically log in.

    i still have yet to figure out how to use remote desktop, lol...

    Yeah la, but that's not my question. Whatever it is, you still need to set a password. No password, no remote desktop, regardless on whether you set to boot up automatically.

    I know it's late, but you need to read my post properly. :lol:
