Aztech Modem Bad Flash Recovery Guide

    Thank you. I think that its not double posting. I finding alternative way like this aztec modem solution. And finding flash rom way too. sorry for my english is poor. thank you.

    This Aztech bad flash recovery method is only known to work for Texas Instrument's AR7 chipset.

    Dr. Adrian,

    I've same problem when downloading img file. It looks like on going download never end after wait for 10 min. TI program just hang and not able to click the REBOOT button at all. I had tried alternative just to download img file without download BIN file, still not working.

    I haven't try different firmware version cause I bought in Malaysia so I just tried for Malaysia version firmware.

    Maybe Thesaintxxx can tell me what extra step you have done.

    You mean you cannot download the .img file, or the TI software just wouldn't flash the img file you downloaded? Which link did you use?

    DSL600EW flash Firmware failure

    Yes, I'm not able to download the .img file. BIN file is successful. I downloaded from aztech support downloads. Not able to post as URL some error happened.:confused:


    which the file is firmware99.53.1-008 upgrade from 99.53.1.zip

    Hmm.. You are right.. It looks like they removed the folders for the DSL600EW firmwares. :think:

    That's a very difficult question. Without the firmware, there's no way forward. Unless someone who downloaded the firmware can post it up here for you to download...
