another choice for those with a budget below rm900 Huawei U8800 IDEOS X5 - Full phone specifications cost around rm850 to 900
Just got a Samsung Galaxy Ace. No manual book inside, only the driver CD. Prolly it's inside. How am I going to turn off the 3G? I inserted the Sim card, and it asked the "Maxis", "2G" and "3G" but my finger went onto "3G"...
Android? Go to Settings, Wireless & network settings. It should be hidden somewhere. Under Mobile networks probably.
Yeah, it's version 2.2. Thankfully I located it there. I'm still new to these phones so I have to navigate around carefully.
Great thing, I must say. I just wrote my first program in Android. It's a bit really tough to write in Java since all the time I wrote programs for microcontrollers. I'm waiting for my USB Host device (and plug the bluetooth dongle inside) to arrive so that I could communicate my Android phone with the Arduino (an open source prototyping platform). Right now, the tough thing is writing the software and utilizing the Bluetooth functions. Too bad the Android emulator doesn't emulate bluetooth, so I had to do it really slowly and carefully.
acer got this mini liquid something the model, below rm800 but spec wise not so good ace or huawei still better buy for budget below 1k
huawei although a china brand is not that bad lol saw in newspaper SE another new phone model W8..a walkman android phone
Huawei made a lot of good modems and stuff for OEM if I'm not mistaken. I don't think it's pretty creepy enough.
hahaha, just because they are chinese brand doesn't mean they are bad. practically all networks you are on in msia are powered by them! erm..ok that explains why the reliability of maxis network is bad. hehehehe
