Obviously, this was intentionally done to kill his political career before the upcoming general elections. Most likely from within the MCA. Personally, I do not like or dislike him. I do disagree with his recent selling out of the government doctors, but I don't think this sex scandal has anything to do with his performance as a Health Minister. While I give him a thumbs up for resigning instead of hanging on like so many UMNO deadbeats (after doing far worse things!), I personally think that politicians should resign for professional misconduct and corruption, etc. rather than their bedroom antics.
Hmm... Just remembered that on Tuesday (1/1/08), he admitted he was the one in the video but REFUSED to resign. I guess his MCA "backers" finally decided not to back him up any longer. They probably have someone else in mind now. Politics is truly a dirty, friendless game.
There couldn't be a poorer choice. OKT is a nodding dog, a yes man. He will just follow orders either from his MCA backer or the Prime Minister. Sad to say, this ex-teacher has no backbone.
OKT has something to do with this? Hmm.. He's quite a cowardly man. Maybe. Possible. This could be the only way he dares to kill his opponents, by backstabbing them. If it's him.. then he's a damn coward.
Personal undertakings has nothing to do with his professional performance. The general political-literacy requires some maturing.
