Crab Rangoon?

    Are they popular in MY? I just made my first homemade batch and completely forgot to take pictures. :wall:
    Recipe was simple: Crab, wonton, cream cheese, green onion, chopped red onion, ground pepper. :dinner:
    I used snow crab (opilio crab). Any other's made them before?

    I don't think they are popular in MY. I've never heard of it till I came here.

    I LOVE crab rangoon! I don't think it's a Malaysian dish though (or a chinese dish for that matter - one of those "American" chinese food). Cream cheese (or cheese itself for that matter) isn't present in any south east/east Asian foods that I've tried.

    Yeah, never heard of it before. :think:

    From the picture in Wikipedia, it looks like regular fried wontons, just filled with crab meat and cream cheese instead of pork.
