    Err... You will have to wait and see. :mrgreen:

    DYKT : I have already sent the details to Dashken for posting.

    DYKT : He says he will be posting them around 5 am.

    DYKT: I'm picking up some Assembly Language, because i wanna play with MicrocontrollerS?

    DYKT: I have to start from teh simple 8086/8088 system. It's rudimentary, but I really hate calling the interrupts. And worse, I can't remember all. Must write it all down and put next to the bed so that I could see this everytime! :D

    DYKT: And, my next sem's course subject pertains those of the 68HC11 microcontroller? Well, that's bonus, since I'll be playing with the ASM there too.

    DYKT: Also, it's pretty tough to squeeze out "Hello World" using plain rudimentary ASM, unlike C/C++ where I can type it using a few lines only.

    DYKT: And on that week of examination, I was heartbroken? *Nice* time to almost kill my self-esteem. Fortunately, I coped up pretty well. Even I passed 3/4 out of the exams (results out already, but only indicates PASS/D/Fail) and I have to wait for the last one? :haha:

    Good luck sir! :D

    Digital Systems is digital electronics course? All the counters, registers and FF? :D

    I just took that exam and passed it already. Haha. :beer:

    well ,still basic, about the gates, flip-flop, registers
    gonna faint :faint:

    Don't worry, it's simpler. As long as they don't ask Programmable ROM stuff, it'll be all OK. I hated it when they asked GAL, PLA, PAL those stuff. They are scary. :haha:

    I loved playing with the Karnaugh map though. It's fun. :D

    I don't even ever heard of those :faint:

    Hmm...these are programmable ROM stuff. They are IN my syllabus in my uni, and that's the most annoying part. They are pretty tricky but straightforward. Needless to say, it's still scary. :D

    GAL = General Array Logic

    PAL = Programmable Array Logic

    PLA = Programmable Logic Array

    And each of these systems have one of the arrays of OR gates fixed while the AND gates are flexible. I'm not sure which one was that, all forgotten. Thank goodness I purchased the 2nd hand book "Digital Fundamentals" by Floyd and read the topics because my lecture notes contains 4 pages of these nasty programmable stuff. Worst, no tutorial questions.:wall: :haha:

    I'm not sure why are they even using it as they *have* already have microcontrollers.

    looks scary :nuts:

    just read about half adder and full adder :faint:

    Half-adder and Full-adder, I myself don't remember the exact circuit. For full-adder I remember is a little box with a Carry-In, Carry-Out, Sum, inputs A and B. Then all fill in the blanks when the lecturer asks. :D

    Digital is fun if you can buy the chips (in these courses TTL is concerned) and play with them. I even made a digital-clock out of it. Even better, an electronic roulette! :D

    just finished the paper
    haven't get any sleep :lol:

    I forgot how to make synchronous counter :faint:

    Hope it's all well and good! :D

    Well, they dropped that "making a sync counter" in my course. it's damn difficult! You have to do the gray-code, and then the truth-table and then the K-map thing, then you wire them all up! :D
