well it is the 29th, and there is no sign of sp3 anywhere on microsoft's web site.

so wonder what has happend to sp3 now.
i remember when sp2 was supposed to come out and they postponed it for awhile longer because they wanted to add more security to it.

lets hope this doesn't happen here this time.

Weird, there are no links at Microsoft's page and a search at the download center results in nothing related. Maybe it's still not the lauching time at Microsoft's area.

It still said "Version 2002" ?

Should be "Version 2008" anyway after all the SP updates! :D

SP3 is already RTM. That means no more changes. If they delay the release, it's most likely due to an online deployment issue (Windows Update, server bandwidth, etc.) or a problem that would require them to limit the deployment to some users.

actually, Adrian, its an incompatibility problem with Windows XP SP3 and machines that use the Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System. so it's not just the "deployment" problem.

Yup, I saw that. So it is "a problem that would require them to limit the deployment to some users."

I don't use Microsoft Dynamics RMS so that is not a problem to me..

i dont either. but i think i'd just wait until mmicrosoft fixes up this problem. cos they might then discover new bugs. so might as well wait for loads people to use before i try it XD

any fix should be applied to Microsoft Dynamics RMS not SP3

btw, XP SP3 Integrated Images already available on MSDN & TechNet

Full retail and volume license installs of Windows XP SP3 now available in select languages, to MSDN / TechNet Plus subscribers - TechNet Forums
