You're practically surrounded by water, and therefore, seafood. gelatin is also soft and slimy. why don't you try and learn to like seafood. I didn't like to take garlic, lemon/lime, mustard or butter before but i learned to like eating them. For instance, I may not really fancy oysters(i still do try to like n eat them though) but i still love eating lala and some other shellfish. Not all seafood taste/are the same.. you've got different types of seafood, different sorts of shell fish and fish. anyways, even though the next location for our gathering may be in a seafood restaurant (if voted by the majority) it doesn't mean that seafood restaurants only serve seafood and nothing else. you can always order something else that's not seafood. The most important thing about gatherings is companionship as adrian had said. The main reason we meet up is to well, meet.

Hey, is it possible that you have super-sensitive tongue or something? I watched a documentary on the sense of taste where they say some people have super-sensitive tongues that perceive tastes more strongly than others.
