Finally found the guts to OC my 3200 Venice

    Drop the ram divider and see how high you can go. :D Find ur CPU's limit.

    Yeah with some decent cooling you can get really high OCs. The max I got my 3000+ is at 2.86GHz @ 1.7V :thumb:

    Wow that's pretty good for Corsair Value. How stable is it at 240MHz?

    wow 240 stable. Only few value chips can go that high stable. hynix CTP-D43 or better does 240 dualchan, AMD64 stable at 2.7vdimm. samsung tcc5/uccc. maybe you got lucky and had some infineon ce-6?

    I'm going to prime it tomorrow but it seems stable after playing games for a few hours this afternoon before work :D I'll have a look and see what chip are on the ram aswell ;)

    Chances are Corsair already relabelled them.
    You should try and see if they can do 2-2-2-5 at 200MHz. If they can, it could well be TCC5/TCCD.

    Ok so it refuses to boot at 2-2-2-5, and you're right corsair have rebadged the chips :mad:
