Drop the ram divider and see how high you can go. Find ur CPU's limit.
Yeah with some decent cooling you can get really high OCs. The max I got my 3000+ is at 2.86GHz @ 1.7V
1.7v?!?!?! Isn't that high as far as CPU voltages go?
I think so and at the time when I got to that clock speed I didn't know and I only used this TT Cooler:
I'll never set my cpu to 1.7V again because that is too scary and I wanted to see how high my CPU can go.
Wow that's pretty good for Corsair Value. How stable is it at 240MHz?
wow 240 stable. Only few value chips can go that high stable. hynix CTP-D43 or better does 240 dualchan, AMD64 stable at 2.7vdimm. samsung tcc5/uccc. maybe you got lucky and had some infineon ce-6?
I'm going to prime it tomorrow but it seems stable after playing games for a few hours this afternoon before work I'll have a look and see what chip are on the ram aswell
Chances are Corsair already relabelled them.
You should try and see if they can do 2-2-2-5 at 200MHz. If they can, it could well be TCC5/TCCD.
That i can do and it means i dont have to crawl under the desk
Ok so it refuses to boot at 2-2-2-5, and you're right corsair have rebadged the chips
