Okay I think I finally got tired of using A4 paper / cloth as my mousepad... Now looking for other alternatives (pls voice your opinion!)

    OR

Planning to get a RETAIL mousepad... Such as the Func or the RatPadz... But I have no idea which one is better... Opinions please? :)

Btw, I'm using a Logitech Optical Mouse. Primary use, GAMING

ya got mine for free too. why get expensive one? its not like ur gaming will improve because of that.

My gaming doesn't improve, but my gaming experience is very obvious! No more mousepad 'running' around the table, lack of mouse surface, and silky smooth surface. If you are using older optical mouse, the tracking ability improves a lot! Ball mice users will benefit from good surface too. Pro gamers use expensive mousepad, not because they want to brag!

i spose. i guess a more comfortable pad will make my FPS gaming a lot better. however i find el-cheapo mouse pads just fine. u know the one with a rubbery bottom and blue top surface.

those damn 3d reflective ones are a bad idea. optical mice @ my uni don't work properly cause of that. i can't believe they even have those. these really should be deemed a sub standard product.

having NO pad is never a good idea tho. this really is the case if your still using a ball mouse. optical are so much better for gaming! my new MS intelli mouse really owns in Q3. now i can rail all day without getting sick of it

Those are actually not too bad, but the surface area is too small.

Even with my Generation 3 optical mouse, it cannot work on my table properly, because my table is almost glossy due to wear and tear! My old mouse pads always slide around the table! :wall:

Sorry, forgot to put that in. :)

Actually I need to use a mousepad cause my computer table is white and kinda reflective... My optical mouse doesn't work on it at all :(

And I don't want a normal mousepad cause I've tried a good surface before (actually, it was a damn good hardcover for some book, but the book is too thick to be used as a mousepad) and I can feel the mouse just GLIDE smoothly along the surface... And I want that!

Anyone know where I can get the cover (just the cover!) that they use for hardcover binding (eg. your honours project documentation)? I tried asking a binding shop once and they say they don't sell separate... I will still have to pay for the binding service even if I just want the cover! :wall:
