Guess what v-cards/Fan mod

Ok, Two of my old v-cards.

Guess what brand/models,,, You get rep if you guess correct!

The fan went bad on one,,, Hence my "mod".

It cools better then the old fan.

I wonder if it's worth oc'n.?.

 

The one with the passive heatsink looks like the MSI GeForce2 MX.

 

Hmm.. The one with the fan is older, right? It has SGRAM chips..

 

That's only one guess lah! Two cards for the rep!!!

Okay, looks like the one with the fan is a Visiontek GeForce2 GTS while the one without the fan is the MSI GeForce2 MX 400.

What one is "faster" in your opinion?

 

GeForce2 GTS for sure.

It has twice the number of pixel pipelines and usually comes with DDR SDRAM which gives it twice the memory bandwidth of the GeForce2 MX.

 

Now to find out what mainboard the thing is is on.

Unknown motherboard

Here are some pictures of this unknown brand of motherboard in this rig I picked up. The one thing I know is that it has the same chipset as my abit kt7ar.

With it's 900mhz thunderbird and a ge-force two GTS it manages 65 FPS@1024/768 on q-3 max detail/settings.

The ram chips have the words M-PLUS printed on them. Never heard of them b4.

Looks like a RIVA TNT to me.

Or could it be the RIVA TNT2 M64?
