Ive just bought a Scythe Katana heatsink for my socket A processor , I note that the base of the heatsink because of its small size will only only just sit on the little rubber plugs on the top of the chip . The full weight of the heatsink will rest firmly on the die . Does any body have any suggestions for a firmer support, or at least avoid the potencial rocking motion on installation cheers Tito
Well, the best way is to press the heatsink against the core at all times while installing the heatsink.
