My favourite temperature monitoring software. Now it supports monitoring HDD. The configuration may not be easy, but it's very customizable.

Another utility you can probably try is hmonitor pro. It also now supports hard disk monitoring and well, it's more comaptible than MBM and much easier to configure. But of course, less features compared to MBM 5

Eh fren, Are you sure you're mobo dun have any sensor chip? I know almost all the socket370/slot1 mobo has it.

For best compatibility, you can try HMonitor Pro 1st, then you can also try MBM, MBM's website do keep a list of supported mobos...

According to MBM's list, your mobo doesn't support hardware monitoring. But you should be able to use MBM to monitor HDD temperature.

peaz: I think MBM's compatibility is pretty good. If you think other wise, please post your experience. :)

MBM does not support the following boards...

    ABIT BE6 /II
    ABIT BF6
    ABIT TH7

it wouldn't work at all when i tested them despite how i try to set it up....

MBM on the other hand works just fine.

Goto settings. Click on General, scroll to the bottom, and tick the scan for IDE HDD.
