I broke the IS7-G!!!

    Well, I think the same thing is going to happen to anyone if they try to remove the standoffs. I can use my finger to mount the standoff. But when you actually mount the cooler, when tightening the screw on the cooler, the standoff will get extra tighten! You get what I mean? :D

    I guess you're just too strong, Superman. :mrgreen: :D ;) :)

    The problem is that most people tighten up their *hehe*
    screws way more than it would be necessary, ending up
    bending their screwdriver or getting themself a
    tendovaginitis. :nuts: :D

  3. wow, if i broke it, i would drop whatever i was holding, and sink to the ground, sobbing. then i would bring it to school to have it soldered back on

    LOL! It wasn't me tightening the heatsink. Well, the key to better heatsink performance is to have higher clamping pressure.

    Just like how if you clamp harder you'll enjoy...oh... nvm... wrong place.... heh....
