my athlon xp 2200+ from 1.6GHz to 2.02GHz and i was wondering what the average cpu and pc temperatures are and if mine are too high what to do thanks
Woah.. That's really hard to answer since temperatures depend on a LOT of variables... For example.. 1. Ambient temperature 2. Type of heatsink used 3. Type of fan used 4. Is the case well ventilated / open / totally closed? 5. What voltage did you use? 6. What other components are in the system? Etc. etc.. So, it's really quite impossible to give you an "average".
very hard to average. if the majority of the taken sample are in Malaysia and a non-aircon room, the temperature will average out to be hotter than samples taken from someone in Switzerland. having said that - IMO you shouldn't even bother about average temps. just make sure it's 50 - 55c but never above 60c and it'll be great. (my simple brain thinks that way.)
Just make sure it's stable, that's all I care. It can be unstable at 40C, what's the point of low temperature if it's not stable.
