Installing second SATA to recover data

    I think he's just reminiscing on the good old bad old days of PATA.

    technot, I know it's not fun, but it'd be a good idea if you make sure both disks are readable and the one you expect is the boot drive. Finding that boot order BIOS option shouldn't be too hard, and while booting Linux and getting around it would take a little more time it may be worth it.

    Hello there,
    As the recommended answer should be for Sata hard disk but as this post will give you the way to recover all type of data from all type of hard disk and OS, likewise to recover data from hard drive having bad sectors on vista or from any other category of hard disk you need to use the third party tools which is available on internet and they do come with snaps shots so have no problem to use them. You can download the software from internet and can use easily.
