I just got my PC today, but the configuration went horribly wrong, so I will only get it working on Monday, since tomorrow is a public holiday...
that's easy when you can find a job that suits your passion. but then, i've learnt that nothing is perfect, there's always a downside to conventional work Especially when you're not the only person you need to take care off. Then, you can't work overtime anymore because you need to spend time with your own family, but sometimes, you need to spend time on work, otherwise you won't get rated well. and all that kind of crap. Convetional work always boils down to one thing. you trade your time for your salary. ANd that sucks. Eventually you'll realise that it's not really your skill that they want. They simply just need a donkey to do their donkey job. We're all professional donkeys. As for all of you who're not working yet... well enjoy it while it lasts...
And for all those who like their work very much -- enjoy that while it lasts too! Not trying to be ominous and I hope you continue doing so for a long long time, but I've been there and I've come down from the 'high', not because of the work itself, necessarily, but because of surrounding circumstances.
