Picked up this el cheapo M to Micro Four Thirds adapter for RM100.

The Voigtlander 50/1.5 looks good on the GX7...

A couple of shots from walking around the neighbourhood with this combo:

Wow... That's a really cheap adaptor.

    Did you post-process the shots?

Well, it is literally a hunk of metal only without any contacts.

    Nice shots as usual :thumb:

Yeah, but nothing's cheap these days. Even the plasticky DVD-ROM drive bay adaptor I bought cost me over RM 40!

Yeah I always post process my shots, though for these they're pretty minimal -- just the standard fare white balance, contrast, saturation, a touch of clarity.

The difference between the cheap and expensive adapters is usually precision. Since precision on these kind of things are measured in micrometers, it sometimes pays to get the more expensive ones.

This cheapo one, for example, is probably thinner by a few micrometers, because the lens will focus past infinity with it. Still better than the other way around -- if it were too thick, the lens never reach infinity and this will make it unsuitable for stuff like landscapes, astrography, etc.
