Ok, I'll start the ball rolling here. I am looking for new camera (again). Yeah, the last time something happened and I scrapped that plan. Anyway, I'm looking for a cheap and affordable camera, reasonable pixels, more than 3x optical zoom, cheap memory card (SD/CF/MMC) and under RM2000 (preferably). At the moment, I'm looking at... What do you think? Do you think I should make this thread sticky?
choose the panasonic version. FZ20 is good enuf. the S1 the macro shoot is very hard. and the S2 people said overpriced.
OMG... just realize FZ20 is 2.4k+. Just wondering, if I want to get 0% interest installment, do I ask the shop selling the camera or the bank?
Ask the shop. Different shops support different banks. Also ask how much will it cost you if you pay CASH. Sometimes, they will give you a discount for cash.
er...anyone knows the latest price for the Nikon D70s? The last I heard was about RM3.6K 2 wweks ago. Has it drop any further?
I sell you my old S7000? LOL. joking. Still using it sometimes Considering something else? Like the A95? I think it's pretty good too for a regular P&S... Rm1699 with free Canon charger and 4x 2300mAh AA rechargebles, 256Mb CF, etc...
LOL! peaz bought S7000 for like RM2.3k 'a few' years back! Yup, D70s is around that price. The prices do not drop everyday! Maybe you can get slightly below that, but not much.
Gee...thanks! That's really a good offer. But of late, I'm haunted by this monster 'D70s'. Wherever I go, I'll keep a lookout for it. Visiting ARP doesn't help either! Guys here keeps on reminding me (esp the 2 Wongs) with their postings. *sigh*
Huh? The other Wong is who? A95 only 4x optical zoom right, or 3x? I used 3x zoom before, so little! That's why I'm currently looking at Panasonic DMC-FZ5, 12x zoom. Looks good. But no hot shoe la.
