I'm in the market for a new digi cam now that my Canon PowerShot A75 is having some problems. I'm thinking of getting a Canon PowerShot A720 IS NCIX.com - Buy Canon PowerShot A720IS 8.0MP Digital Camera - 2092B005 In Canada. It's priced about ~$200. Is it the best point-and-shoot cam at that price range atm?
lol first you said that S5 is better than FZ18 and now it's other way around? lol i'm confused but i like the rotating lcd screen the cannon has
Hi Guys, one of my collegue is offering me NIkon D70 which is 2 years old. One thing I know is the camera is been discontinued by the manufacture. May I know is it worth getting it now? on top of that im a noob and new bees in this SLR thingy..so plan to start at low first.
Ahh.. That's the DSLR most of Team ARP started with. It's not a bad camera to start with, and it comes with a good kit lens - the 18-70mm f/3.5-5.6. You should be able to get the whole kit at a very low price.
Frankly speaking, you should not worry too much about the camera body itself if you are going into DSLR. First, you have to decide which system you wanna go with. Unless you are really LICH heh.. you will want to stick with one system. Using multiple systems can be a real headache and cost you a lot of money because the lenses and bodies of different systems are just not compatible. That's why DSLR companies are introducing really cheap DSLRs to hook people into their systems. Heh.. Once you buy a few lenses, it will be quite hard for you to switch.
Thanks Guys for the tips my collegue still stick with 1.2k So i change to D40 with a whole set of 7 month of warranty left
