Hi all, I'm looking for a 2nd hand PDAphone with wifi which looks OK and doesn't burn my pocket. Preferably under RM1k. I've been searching around and saw some Dopod 818Pro, 838Pro, D810, O2 Atom Life, etc. Seems like the lower end HTC like HTC Touch (dual) or something don't have wifi. Looking for one with a keypad. Why am I looking for a new phone? Well, I'm at Shanghai now, will be going home in about 5 days. My phone was dead (K610i) upon the 2nd day of arrival. Everytime I press the power button to boot it up, the LED light at the top gives me red flashes. Should be an error code I suppose. And I'm without my phone for nearly 2 weeks now. Initially I thought my battery was dead, so I asked my colleague to buy me one and bring it over. When I tried, same thing. red flashes... Btw, is Dopod M700 really slow? Coz it's just running @ 200Mhz with TI OMAP 850.
I really can't help with the phone or prices over there Dashken but sorry to hear about your phone ...
PDA phone = touchscreen Smartphone = non touch screen 90% of the WM software will work on smartphone.
So, is touch screen better or non-touch screen better? Hmm... coz I like to touch and play with stylus.
Well I like touchscreen, but I hardly use stylus. It's far more convenient to use finger. All PDA phones made since 2006 should have Wifi already. HTC Touch is no exception. I don't think there's any PDA phones less than RM1k brand new.
From RM800+ to RM1200.. how much does a Dopod D810 or 838Pro costs? I recently found Sony Ericsson maybe the phone that I'll end up buying will be G900. But the yet-to-be-released C905 looks damn good too. Dang... why can't they just combine both and sell it cheap?
