I think UMNO members in Kepala Batas (Badawi's seat) have gone insane. They just insulted Islam and Muslims. Anti-government protest by opposition Umno starts in Kepala Batas, Penang Translated, it means, "To hell with Islam!!! Long live the Malays"
Yeah, it's double-standard for sure. Fewer people went to the Parliament to hand Abdullah Ahmad Badawi flowers, and the police used the water cannon on them. Why not on UMNO protestors? DOUBLE STANDARD!
Take a look at the childishness of UMNO leaders : This is EXACTLY why we should NEVER vote for UMNO. Look at their arrogance and pettiness. They obviously do not care about the people, just about winning and the benefits of being in power. The people have not rejected development, you silly, silly little boy. They just rejected you corrupt BNputras!
NBTD. Where are the police? Don't they have a strict policy of breaking up illegal protests with water cannons and tear gas?
Sigh. So the worst has yet to come. Since the fed (BN) controls most of the funding and all, other opposition-led states would surely take a beating.
UMNO members, please grow up. Learn from YB Lim Guan Eng. When BERSIH and HINDRAF staged protest rallies, you had the police to shoot chemical water and tear gas at them. When you started protesting after you lost the elections, what did YB Lim do? SHAME ON YOU, UMNO! Learn what it means to be a gentleman la, you sore losers!
Hmm.. Ruhanie Ahmad just reported that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has agreed to quit as Prime Minister on the condition that his son-in-law, Khairy, is made full minister. Apparently, that condition was rejected unconditionally!
The writing is on the wall. Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has to step down.. or they will kick him out. One way or another. Best he leave quietly with some dignity, instead of Samy Vellu's style.

Its all about placing transparency for the FIRST time in 50 years. Previously its firstly racial bias on tender awards, then cronism which led to only a select few enriching themselves and opened the door to many forms of corruption. The BN led gahmen KNOWS THIS and allowed it to happen for so long. Those who profited from this arrangement who now feel threatened and fear of being deprived for good ARE certain to obviously fight back behaving like cornered animals. These elements are not going to give in and are trouble makers. Didn't Pak Lah tell everyone after the Hindraf rally that people are NOT to take their grouses to the streets. Its NOT a Malaysian culture. Then, the rakyat are can voice their disappointment via the ballot box. The rakyat DID!
