Maxthon incompatible with Internet Explorer 8?

After installing Internet Explorer 8, my Maxthon (Classic) browser kept crashing. I think it is because of Internet Explorer 8 because after a reinstall (due to a separate, tragic case of Vista Black Screen of Death), Maxthon would still crash after IE8 is installed.

After the crash, I checked for the cause. Microsoft claims Maxthon crashed because it requires flash.ocx which is no longer included in Windows Vista. Well, the funny thing is, I never had a problem running Maxthon with Vista until IE8 came along.

Anyone else have the same problem with Maxthon after installing IE8?

LOL!! I have Firefox installed too. It's just that I'm so used to Maxthon. I guess if I have no choice, I will have to migrate to FF.
