there's one IM site www.meebo.com and i find it pretty impressive! the interface is pretty good too! it has MSN, IRC, YAHOO and JABBER/GTALK.... i find it useful because MSN is so unstable here in INTI...
One thing I was wondering about meebo though. Sent a friend a file earlier today via msn, didnt realize that she was on meebo. The file transfer was accepted and went through. But to whom was the file sent to?
I have been using meebo for a few months now. It's great! Fast! Except for its group chat that's just been implemented (a bit lag), everything else is good. Well, it doesn't support file transfer yet, as for where did your file go, only God knows. And I got myself a meebo t-shirt too. With a picture of emoticons along with the meebo team's autograph... But alas, I couldn't wear the t-shirt, it's the hugging type and you can see my bulging tummy... Look at my sig... I wonder why no one notice.
And... we should have something like this during the ARP BBQ! The initial team members... they have added more since. Their open office... they are looking for a new one now since they have a bigger team and expanding. At work... meebo is listed as on the PCWorld's Top 100 World Class Products! Woohoo! akho!!!
u've been using meebo for a few months? why not MSN msgr? hm...yeah, i just noticed your sig...at first i thought i said 'GO MEEB!'
Akho : your avatar is a puppy, and there's a cat he posted up (= At least thats the tenuous link I can find to it. Anyways, about Meebo, sure as hell beats Web Messenger. I shall keep this in mind. (=
I think he was using a cat avatar back then which looks pretty similar to the one in the picture It was an old post (17th Jun 2006, 01:29 AM)
