My AMD Turion always turn to be slowly

    I know your meaning,iModAMD.I know the pre-OS installed by manufacturer contain lot of unused soft.but I don't think it's the reason.
    and midicow, how to do your suggestion.

    Maybe you need a AMD driver for it :think:

    i know this thread is dead, but it doesnt look like an answer has been made. i worked on a laptop (Dell e1705) i think it was. all settings had been checked it should have been running faster than it was. cpuz showed the processor not going above 800mhz which was at half speed. eventually i discovered the laptop wasnt recognizing the ac adapter and limited the performance to half. changed out the adapter and full performance was restored...
