Well erm... My dad plans to use his credit card points to change into a Canon EOS 400D... not sure if that's wise or not... So erm... things i need to know: -The market price of Canon EOS 400D -Accessories i need to get (lens, bag, extra battery, etc... etc..) -Recommendation of lens and if extra battery is needed My budget for the accessories: As low as possible (3k maybe) Hopefully the above info is enough for you guys to recommend me something...
Think 400D Kit is about RM2300 maybe less. A decent Flash say 430EX is about 1.1K I think. As for lens it all depends on what you shoot. I dunno much about Canon lens so I can't recommend, for wide maybe a EF-s 10-22.
10-22 is too expensive, although an excellent super wide angle. You can consider 70-300 if you want longer range. You may want a battery grip.
Ori if possible... anyway... the lens... my school club friend did recommend me Sigma 18-200mm lens Battery Grip? heard that before but don't know what's it's function... more grip maybe? izit too costy for a battery grip?
heres the battery grip , which i got it today http://forums.techarp.com/attachmen...38-arp-s-new-toy-bragging-corner-img_1904.jpg
Eh, you have a limited budget. I suggest you stick to the essentials. Forget the battery grip. I don't think you really need one. Most important is to get the camera body, a good general purpose lens and maybe a flash unit, if you can afford it. You also have to allocate some money for the flash card and batteries (for the flash).
Yup, alternatively, you can save your money first, then get the accesories, lenses when you feel you need them.
Yeah, don't get carried away buying accessories. Learn to use the camera with the kit lens and then you will know whether you really need the other accessories.
