The Ace? Iphone running Froyo, seriously best bang for buck.

It's great for a <1k phone, nope I have no problem it getting hot, as long as I dun turn on GPS and 3G. Battery last about 2 days for my usage.

Only bad thing is the processor speed.

Playing Angry Bird Rio is a bit jerky, can't even load Gun Bros. The camera sucks but usable.

But still the cheapest Froyo phone you can buy.

For double the price, but not double the phone. 1GHz phone is more damn sufficient for Android TBH. Just get rid of all the stupid TouchWiz, instant performance boost.

Can I remove touchwiz without having to root the phone first?

Not possible. Best way is to flash a new ROM. I'm not sure if you can install something like LauncherPro over the TouchWiz.

LauncherPro is a very good UI for Android. Smoother and faster than even the stock UI.
