    i know this is probably old but its setting on the carpet.. and usually that = more dust...

    Sorry for digging this, but it's not true that ball bearings are quieter.

    Sleeve bearings are actually quieter, but may not last as long.

    My case came with two ball bearing 120mm fans. One still squeeks for a few seconds from time to time. Not bad enought to have to replace.:|

    Get those Yate Loon fans from Petras Tech Shop. Excellent fans and very cheap too.

    Oh yeah, those pics from this thread is not the latest config. I think I posted somewhere in the bragging corner. :lol:

    Couldn't find it. I think I have to repost. :mrgreen:

    Nexus fans should be really quiet but still give some nice airflow, although they're ugly :p

    Nexus fans are basically rebadged Yateloon fans with slightly tweaked fan speed.

    Really? I always thought ball bearings were quieter because they have less contact area. :think:
