definately to hope for a better public transport. I actually don't mind the lifiting of the petrol subsidy cos we are going to face it inevitably in the future. But it has to balance up along with cheaper tariffs, cheaper road taxations, better public transportation, etc. otherwise, it's really just shortchanging us rakyats!
I already lost hope a long time ago. They'll do nothing much, trust me. All money will eventually masuk pocket. Look at Penang for example, what have changed for the past 3-4 years. Nothing! Eh, no... they managed to finish up a few overhead bridges which took forever to build.
And they just launched the complaint thingie, what's the use when they don't do anything. In a few months from now, they won't even look at it.
I totally agree with you on the Penang public transport. 1.) I took once before i nearly dead in that bus coz the air con totally not functioning and i am not able to open the window as well OMG.. 2.) Bus driver will call you get down from the bus when there is not much passanger going to the place that you head to. They claim that petrol can not cover thier trip to there so that all you have to get down from the bus here. ( Is it true? I got this messsage from my aunty that stay in Penang. )
Penang Public transport is a piece of crap ... sometimes you cant even get a bus i refuse to take public transports in Pg ..
All the public transports around Malaysia are generally crap! Except for maybe LRT, but it's so jam packed with people during peak hours! My lips was almost literally kissing the door most of the time!
Next time do not face to the window, face in so hope you can kiss a pretty gal hahaa just joking.. So far in KL i can see that some of the buses had improve thier internal look, as having new cover for the chair and some paint on
