Nvidia 790i board pulled by makers

    I don't think they will quit. They have invested too much into the chipset business to quit. They even snubbed Intel and sacrifice the huge business that would have brought just to continue making their own chipsets.

    IMHO, the 790i was a rushed chipset. When I first saw the design, it looked like they hurriedly tacked on the PCI-E bridge chip (which used an overclock PCI-E interconnect) just to add triple SLI support.

    i have heard stuff like this before he even put it on his site (but all of this is just a rumors)
