You can find most of them by Googling "AMD 9900 review" Here are some good ones: AMD Phenom 9900 Review - Overclockers Club AMD Phenom 9900 Review - Page 1 - Introduction
Unfortunately, AMD has not been forthcoming with review samples, so we have not been able to test or review them.
was trying to say that b3 steping have fixed errors on core and it have shown many improvments over old b2 steping i was no insulting anyone if i did i am sorry
to take old b2 steping would be a mistake if you ask me my brother get it and send it back after two days LOL system was making bullshit all the time he dident know why LOL after geting new 9750 he is happy like a child LOL all phenoms that have xx50 it is a b3 steping
The Erratas on thoses cores are only about the TLB... and as i know the TLB only serves for Programmers ... so i don't think we can give this lame excuse by it's performance...(in comparison of intel)
I think they are faulty core more than a crippled core. Why would you want to break a core intentionally?
Ya think is more apropriate... i seen noobs on others forums saying the X3 was an X4 in truth... but the useless core was inactive only because if one core dies... it will remplace it(like the PS3)... who is totaly false rofl XD... But would be nice if somebody found an way to unlock the locked core on the X3 Versions....
Hmm, i actually was wonder is there really 4 cores in the tri core version of phenom =_= Most likely it's a dummy vore and i doubt there is way to unlock the locked core on those x3 xD
The Phenom has a monolithic design, which means all Phenoms AFAIK will have four cores. The tri-core version just has one core disabled. Most likely, that core isn't functional to begin with.
