Had shoulder surgery yesterday a.m.... Anyone else have this procedeure? :eh:
The surgery part wasn't all that bad. I have some discomfort and typing with one hand kinda stinks but it could be worse. I actually got to sleep in bed with the help of a mountain of pillows to keep my arm propped in the right way. The pain meds make me hyper though. Lortab (sp?) Kinda feels like if I drank a pot of coffee. Might have to change this to something else... Any suggestions? Bandages come off tomorrow and I can shower then. Start PT monday @ 7am and have the follow up with the doc next monday. Jury says 4-6weeks of recovery. Tennis anyone? :haha:

Can you just change your meds without a prescription?

    gory details.....
    Youv'e been warned!:haha: :naughty:
Sorry but I had to document the nasty side too....
NOTICE the "YES" on my shoulder so they don't cut on the wrong one.... :faint:
It feels like a truck has run over my shoulder...
At least I am NOT in a wheel chair... :D

day after... Three incisions... ample iodine stains

2 days after... Let the bruising begin! You can see incision about 1 cm long.

Throw in some therapy... and more bruising.

    and some more....

I am GOOD if I don't have to get in the MRI tube again...

Certainly looks painful! Hope the meds are working for you.

PS. The YES is a very good idea. You don't want them operating on the wrong side... and then discovering their mistake, repeat the op on the right side! :shifty:
