I have a new ASUS mobo and a simple IDE i try and set up windows xp pro and it says restarting after loading and then poof blank screen... I re boot and it goes through post and boots and xp screen is present for seconds then blue text restarting set up then poof blank.. i have rearanged my bios in all possible start orders with no avail. I have used different hard drives but most could not be recognized. By the mobo. i flashed the bios prior to all this with an updated bios just wondering if it could be a prob? It's getting frustrating. any thoughts?
