If you're going to the hypermarket, maybe some tins of tuna and some bread would make up handy sandwiches? Or maybe sotong or potatoes to be roasted. Just a suggestion, of course. Giant is the closest (and fairly well equipped) hypermarket to Adrian's abode.

Just FYI, if there's not enough food listed, Jenny will prepare some ready-to-eat stuff like chicken curry and tomato rice. Possibly other finger foods too. But we need to know how many more are coming.
4 to 5 hrs??!?? you're planning on taking the old highway? It only takes 3 1/2 hours to reach KL. 110-120km/h all the way la xD Only 300 over km from Penang to KL. so if you do the math, and drive within the speed limit of 100 to 120km/h, you should reach KL within 3hrs +? I travel to and fro Penang and KL often. And I usually make it within 3 1/2 to 3 hrs unless during raya / cny then it takes twice as long. But I've learned to avoid that by driving in deathly hours
