Hey there, It's not a new toy a few days ago I purchased, but a classic, vintage MSI 694D Pro2 dual-processor board and also comes with a processor from online. I then later purchased another similar processor to pair it up. And it installs the operating system well and good. But too bad it's only 256MB PC133 RAM and it's still slightly sluggish, but can partially multitask. Wow... an early 'dual-core'! Also, wish that those guys in Intel and AMD can design dual commercial 775 boards which takes in 2 C2Q... whoa!
Well I finally got around to installing my G92 8800GTS. It actually arrived on Christmas Eve (Santa UPS indeed) but I was out of town. My MX-2 thermal paste and FuZion nozzles arrived today so needless to say, I got busy. Fugly HSF on EVGA's G92 8800GTS. Not that it mattered. Took that sucker off and slapped on some real cooling (MCW60 ftw). Hooked everything up, added my 2gb more of reapers that came back from RMA and I have myself a rebuilt PC. Core pic isn't very clean coz I was in the middle of working some ArtiClean magic on it. Ram is a Qimonda (departure from the Samsung chips I have been getting on previous iterations of NVIDIA cards) that is good for 1GHz (mmm). GDDR3 - Qimonda AG
Ad Psy: Nice card. But still ... even with this one, Crysis will be the same. Beautiful looks but a bad game at all. ^^ Btw. ... wasn't in the mood to wait until their hybrid (BR + HD-DVD) comes out (and with Warner's help BR already won the race anyway) so I've bought this little baby, Samsung BD-P1400.
Thanks! Yeah, Crysis will improve but probably not by astounding levels (come on damn crytek). But at least some of the other games will run a lot better (needed more onboard ram for games such as World in Conflict). Mmm... Blu-ray...
Well, depends ... How much would you call "expensive"? ^^ The player is about ~2400RM and the movies 120 to 150RM. HD-DVD-players are cheaper, but it's a dying format already. So they wanna sell as much as they can right now.
Yeah. I hope they win and enough with this silly 2 formats (BD ftw ). @Mac Daddy WCing FTW. Crysis looping, load temp is 33C lmao. I will most definitely be pushing the heck outta this card like my previous 8800GTS 320mb.
Cool could never get my X1950 over 50C even under heavy load FUR tests ran 22C ambient and core idle Moving onto other things will keep ya posted
