OMG! That's dirt cheap!! The 47" Toshiba Regza LED TV (non-3D) is going for about RM 5,500 (US$ 1833)!!!
Wow, that's such cool tv set you have here! and hanging at the wall! I just had to say that those flat panels have become very dirt cheap. Back in 2000, a 15" LCD could cost like RM3000.
I just mounted it last night. Insanely thin. Hangs like a picture frame (a wire attached to two anchors on the back of the tv, and two hanging points I mounted on the wall)... The best part is the remote... Touchscreen color LCD remote... Picture in picture is not via the TV. The Remote can display a different video source (and audio) independant of the TV... It is also a wifi remote too (hooked up to the wifi network and sends commands to the tv via wifi too). Tv too has wifi.
I haven't bought any hardware in a while so here's a small upgrade to keep me happy till LGA 2011... Bought a second set of 3 x 2GB DDR3 1600 RAM for less than 80 bucks off of Newegg. (do pardon the HD7 flash)
Yes, the new 4th gen. iPod touch is really short on battery life. AFAIK, it's using the same battery as the 3rd gen. iPod touch but because the processor and retina display sucks up a lot more power, the battery life is a lot shorter.
Some addition to make my Mac "sound better" ... JBL Creature III And finally +2Gig of RAM for my Acer Ferrari One.
Needed a new keyboard so I got this one it is not fancy or anything, but it is a mechanical keyboard like the IBM Model M in fact it is build on the very same machines that produced the Model M.
Unicomp they purchased the keyboard technolgy from Lexmark International which in turn used to be IBM's keyboard division. You can find reviews of the keyboard on youtube and NPR had a story on this manufacture a few years ago.
