Yeah, that's the new Hyundai i10. It has 5 years warranty, if I'm not mistaken. Did you buy the 1.25L model?
I bought a new ride to replace the R34. CobbTuning Accessport on the way with some other bits and pieces.
Nice! I was considering getting this car for the longest time (before ending up with my current one)! Here's my little brag: V2 ECU "beta" tune...
One thing good about using an X is the ability of the thing's OEM ECU to be reflashed with the AccessPort. But if I did get a new ECU, Cosworth's PECTEL or a MoTeC would fit the bill. Although now I'm more interested in getting a set of front and rear stoppers from Alcon. The stock Brembos are nice but they can be improved upon.
Yeah I sometimes wish it would be as simple as plugging in a dongle but the SIMOS 8 ecu I have on the car is highly advanced (and highly encrypted - 128bit rolling code). Only two companies outside of OEM can flash software on it. Alcons will need to be rebuilt every year or so due to lack of dust boots on the pistons. What kind of improvement were you looking at? Are the stock ones 2 piece floating rotors? I have a StopTech ST-60 355x32mm setup on my car and it was great on the track. Looking forward to this season starting...
Siemens have always made their ECUs secure lol. The Alcons won't have to be rebuilt all the time if the pistons are replaced with forged stainless steel pistons. Plus the brakes aren't that hard to DIY. Highspeed stopping is introducing thermal judder into the brakes, so spreading it out across a bigger and thicker disc while pushing it across more pots will make things better. Other than that I figure the weak link are the brakes rather than the tyres when aiming for dead stop.
Here's the latest 'toy' which we just picked up last Thursday Posted in my Facebook earlier, and posting it here now... Comes with built-in navigation and a touch screen RNS510 multimedia system which has a 30GB HDD and plays MP3/WMA. Pretty awesome stuff. And the MFD on the dashboard is pretty cool too.
It's actually better kitted out than the VW Passat CC. The Passat CC doesn't come with any built-in nav or touch screen multimedia system.
