My Steam Deck 512GB arrived today It’s kinda big lol Size compared to my 3DS, PS Vita, and OLED Switch: Screen is pretty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Somewhat of a impulse buy Gigabyte Aero 16 XE5 Gorgeous 4k AMOLED 16 inch screen in a 15 inch laptop size. Core i7-12700H 16GB RAM 2 x 1TB SSD 3070 Ti 8GB CNC aluminum chassis It was a good deal at PAX West from the gigabyte booth I was going to get a Surface Pro 8 i7 to replace my iPad but this will instead replace my Razer Blade 15 Advanced with a 2070 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Also from PAX West, some Audio-Technica wireless earbuds (since my airpod pros took a dump recently) ATH-CLS50TW Also a decent deal Sounds really good - the charging case is a little on the big side though, but plenty of battery life (made lining up at PAX a lot more bearable) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wow, haven't been here in a while, some nice gadgets! Because it is so light, I don't really feel anything. In terms of ANC and transparency mode, it is comparable to XM4s. I didn't like the full transparency mode (pressing on the buds) though, too amplified, because it cannot be adjusted.
Oh noes, less than one year and the mouse wheel's rubber ring is slipping on the metal roller already. Don't have superglue, so tried UHU glue but not really working out that well. So ordering a new Logitech Lift Vertical... expecting to arrive within this week...
Finally Logitech Lift Vertical arrived... a bit smaller than expected but seems smooth and responsive. The whole back half is rubber! We'll see how well it holds out after a year Stereo-pairing is much better than mono! If you've got a bluetooth speaker than support stereo-pairing (even if it's a tiny measly palm-sized portable like a Sony XB12 or 13), always a good idea to get a second to pair them up for stereo sound. The improvement is very significant, especially when positioned appropriately!
I finally got a new replacement, and it doesn't have that noise anymore. So it was definitely defective.
Hi there guyss! Does microcontroller boards count here? I still have an ESP32-S3 board that I'm experimenting on it now!
I actually bought a few similar boards, but I'm not doing any programming. Arduino Pro Micro Atmega32u4.
New laptop, who dis! I always wanted a Alienware, just couldn’t swing it. But workplace discount and a credit card discount sweetened the deal. Also, my Gigabyte Aero 16 (with its lower powered 3070 ti) couldn’t really swing the latest and greatest games. So I went all out and got a Alienware x16 Specs: - Core i9 13900HK - 32gb DDR5 6000MHz RAM (integrated) - RTX 4090 16GB that runs at the full powered 175w TDP - 1tb m2 PCIe NVMe SSD (also added my 2TB Samsung 970evo for 3tb total) - 16” QHD, 240hz, 3ms, 100% DCI-P3 screen (has Dolby Vision too) Fancy The design isn’t as “loud” as it used to be. Build is solid The size is, uh, weird… won’t fit in the sleeves I have (not my back packs that have a laptop slot) because of the extended rear. But it’s still a Alienware so things have to be lit Of course I cracked it open after finishing installing all for he updates the cooling is amazing on this laptop and fans aren’t high pitched either keyboard deck barely feels warm after several hours of Diablo 4 it’s not very friendly for user servicing though. Other random thoughts: - I’m kicking myself for not getting the Cherry MX switches on the keyboard for $50 more - Dolby Vision is great, but the panel I guess is technically not HDR? or at least not detected - this is my first Dell PC that I’ve owned, but I do like how they make the charger and cable management (no stupid Velcro) - the sound from the speakers is AMAZING Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just the other day my ISP upgraded me to fiber optic. I'm getting 400 up and 400 down with the current plan. 1000 up and down is their max.
