LOL! Basically, cut into the eye, break the cataract and suck/pull out the pieces and replace it with a clear lens. There is some pain but for me, drops of anaesthetic into the eye was enough to block out most of it. The tugging of the eye was rather disconcerting though.
Whoa, some scary stuff there Adrian. I'm glad that everything went well and is still going well. Life would be tough to type with only the right eye
Get well soon! This is some scary stuff man. Like trin, I'd probably faint when they start touching my eyes.
Thanks! Well, I don't think it will be that scary for anyone else. It's just that I've seen it done a few times before. Hehe..
Wow... that must be rough and painful! I heard from my Biomechanics lecturer that 'installing' pin-supports and screws onto broken bones are like doing handy-work. Not sure is it for real. You know, use a hammer to drive the pin into the broken bone... And even the bone-saw is scary.
It's more or less normal now but the viewing angle seems to be a little "limited" and power isn't 100% normal. Hopefully, it will improve...
Eh.. I also didn't see this thread until now. @@ Didn't notice it all all when I met you. I guess the worst is over, right. I'm glad everything went well.
