ROTFL! Usually ships within 3 to 5 weeks? The book isn't even printed yet!

It's currently being copy-edited.

Oh yeah, before I forget, my publisher says that the book size has not been finalized.

The following trim sizes (in inches) are being considered :-

• 5.5 x 8.5
  6 x 9
  7 x 9.25

The final choice will depend on the page count of each trim size. But please do let us know if you have a particular preference for a trim size.

 

I think it needs to pimp the site more.. then more visitors would come to visit the site.. no?

Also, could they come up with an alternative design? Using ARP's colour scheme and design style? LIke the site? It would be nice to have something that's similar to the site's design...

 

Prentice Hall is interested in adding the mascot to the cover and the book. I already sent them the file so let's see what they come up with next.

My friend suggested that the cover background should have more significant meaning of the BIOS, like a 'Press Del to enter BIOS' picture, or maybe a BIOS chip picture, etc...

 

I will ask them about it.
