    Yeap, I had to put the tripod on the car roof, and used a 5-6 seconds exposure mode

    And it's not a dslr :D

    that's pretty cool! a bit funner than the orange moon during lunar eclipses :thumb:

    If you see with your own eyes the 'wow' factor is there, if you see it on the photograph, I don't think the 'wow' is there

    It was cloudy here... But this event is not "rare". It actually happens every few years. I like to see the public's interest raised to astro stuff, but it's a shame that it is something as simple as "near miss" conjunctions or partial eclipses. Maybe I am just a nurd! :mrgreen:
