Anyways it does not have neither trubrite/CSV display nor DVD RW.

Anyways i am going to buy another module of 512Mb Ram. Before i buy i just wanna know if its 200Pin or 184 Pin. Anybody know more about the ram and its specifications.

    I believe it's 200-pin, PC 2700 DDR.

When I did mine I had to buy 512MB to get an upgrade of 256 MB. :wall:

Oh definitely a 200-pins PC2700 DDR SO-DIMM module. The 184-pins modules are for desktop computers.

LOL! Glad you liked it. :thumb:

If you find the heat uncomfortable, try getting a notebook cooler. That can really reduce the temperature a lot. :thumb:

    memory module replacement

Has anyone/everyone else recieved info in the mail about getting a memory module replacement. Toshiba apparantly found some flaws with the memory that shipped last year in a number of their laptop models. I'm hoping to get my new memory soon...free memory upgrade anyone?.......going to see if I can just keep the old 'defective' memory plus the new memory. they want you to mail back the old though..as an incentive if you mail back the old they'll give you a free 32 meg flash drive...

Hmm. Not sure if it applies to us. :(

Hmm.. Looks like if you return the modules to Toshiba directly, they will give you a 32MB flash drive for free.

I'll give my M30 a try and see if it's affected.
