    TT BT is heavy n big but performance pawned xp-120...

    as i read it too has bad mounting...

    Hope the screws are long enough for you to mount it to the mobo :shifty:

    personally, XP120 gives you the best balance between noise (quiet) and performance (top-class).

    I never trusted TT's figure. they are always off..

    but most importantly, what processor are you running now?

    Still have 2500+ @ 2.16 stock volts, but I wanna push more, just dun have the $$$ for H20 cooling. :boohoo:

    I love my XP-120... :thumb:

    Unfortunately, it ain't compatible with K7... :( It'll prolly crush the core even if it could... :p

    Pic 1: Cooler comparison :shock: :silenced: The base size is = to the K7 chip. Typhoon -vs- Volcano 7+:!:
    Pic 2: Tools :shifty: + water (wet sandpaper :rolleyes: )
    Pic 3:Factory milled base... suprisingly rough :think: :silenced:
    Pic 4: After 1st round of lapping. Look at uneveness of the circular shapes that ground down first. :shock: :silenced:
    Pic 5: Finished ...added screw to pic to illustrate mirror-like finish. :roll:

    hmm.. using 92mm fan rite? after assemble it looks like my SP97 but much lighter :mrgreen: ..

    Nope, it's 120mm @ 1300 rpm :whistle: very :shhh:
