if it's just throttling... then how come it won't even connect to the trackers?

    hyper_raider shutdown -h now

Because it has lowest priority if the packet is shaped, it can see the peer but you just cant connect to it since its last on the list. It can be kinda fixed by encrypting your packets in utorrent

No idea. But I checked and confirmed that I have an open port which others can connect to.

isn't there talks on allocating 15GB worth of p2p transfers at unlimited speeds per month?

Only 15GB? :faint: I download like 35-40GB per month even when tmnut is shaping the traffic...

but it's still better than nothing :haha:

Now I'm using HTTP Tunnel to download Emule, downloading at 20kb/sec. I think this is the only way to connect to ed servers.

Something's seriously wrong with TMNet. They can only provide a 1mbps connection to a very limited number of subscribers, and still need to shape the bandwidth. But look across the border.

Singaporeans can get much MORE bandwidth for far LESS money. Even if they perform bandwidth shaping, they are still getting a LOT more bandwidth than we are, for far LESS money. :wall: :wall:

I'm planning to get Maxis Broadband. Will disconnect Streamyx if it's good.
