Source: TwinMos to close down business
goodbye to the legendary maker of BH-5
BH5 is made by Winbond, not TwinMOS. Although they have modules based on BH5.
oh ya hor.. my mistake..
so how am i gonna claim warranty for my ram in the future if the ram died? life time warranty aint helping when the manufacturer closed down
That's why it's called "limited" lifetime warranty.
lol, its a bit too late for u to realize that
i'm using Twismos DDR2 memories.I hope the modules don't get corrupted as service may be a problem. Thanks for the news though.Didn't know that they are closing down.
Sell them & replace them with Kingston or some other big brands.
tha is why i bought Kingston RAMs .. lol
same here, hee~
see my sig, laptop desktop both kingston
Wow.. TwinMOS is really going down? I always thought they did pretty well.
yea, from yesterday onwards, according to the source..
well, I guess the dram price fell below their break-even point.
Yeah.. They must not be shipping enough to make a difference.
I guess that explains why I haven't heard the name TwinMos in quite a long time. Oh well, this is business.
Always sad to see a company go out of business not good for the economy
Sold them & bought Transcend.Hope Transcend will not be going down.
