    I assure it is whole, and yes you can see its eyes. Total length as seen in pic is 4-5cm, but when alive the tail is curled up above its back. I have encountered a live one and gently placed a cardboard box over its head/pincers with tail exposed and it sounded like an old dot-matrix printer as it attacked the side of the box with its stinger. Locals say it is like potent bee/wasp sting. :eh:

    Are they very common there? I haven't seen any over here, but I saw one or two when I was in India. They were quite small though.

    must find UV (blacklight) before summer. Today is 1st day over ~20C so the bugs arecoming back to life.:eh:
